The wait came to an end today.
In a press release sent out a few hours ago, athletic director Mark Hollis evoked the spirit of fighter Joe Louis, the captain Stevie Yzerman, and even a Wolverine in Bo Schembechler as he announced jointly with Coach Izzo and President Lou Anna K. Simon that Tom Izzo will remain “our special coach.”

To be honest, I’m just really glad I can go back to not caring whatsoever about LeBron James.
