Apparently he'll be a preferred walk-on, which basically means he's 1) non-scholarship, and 2) guaranteed a walk-on spot on the team in the fall. Those aren't necessarily guarantees, but every time I've heard about preferred walk-on, those were the terms.</p> <p>Connor comes from Lowell HS, the same school as backup quarterback Keith Nichol.
